I made this for my girlfriends dad for christmas as he is in to the god father movies.

Its made from a 18"x18"x.375" black granite tile with .500" aluminum inlaid into it.

I expoxied to a .125" aluminum back plate.
I cut all the pieces on my waterjet.
I will post up better pics once the expoxy has fully cured and it has a coat of clear on it.

 

That's pretty sweet...It'd probably look better if you took the pictures on something other than your Cell Phone

I am charging my digital camera battery, once its charged i will have better pics. I dont have constructions pics as i did this in 4 hours today as a last minute gift.

I have a few more to make for various people similar to this one, i can do a step by step on one of those and post here.
