I know this question has been asked a million times, and after all my searching none have given a defente answer.

I have a JDM B18C, have my D16 compressor, so I need the bracket and tensioner form the Del Sol VTEC right?

well thats the problem, its a GSR from Japan not a B18C1 like here, and you cant because it will not bolt to the d series compressor, and if you use a B series compressor you have to change the line adapters that screw onto the compressor

cant you use a b series compressor and just use the b series lines? Seems like its going to be really difficult to find/buy the brackets to get a d-series compressor to sit flush.

B-series swap into a 92-00 civic and would like to use the d-series compressor either uses the delsol vtec a/c bracket (P54) or the cheaper USDM crv (b20b 96+). I ordered mine from honda for a 98 CRV. I used my stock d-series compressor. The USDM b20 CRV uses the identical a/c compressor.

Yes. All B-series a/c brackets use the same tensioner and bolts. (regardless of the bracket).

I also used the P7J with my civic compressor on a B16a

gl

ps the P7J is a lot cheaper than the P54 and they are identical

Slothy is right, usinf the P7J bracket is cheaper and is identical to the P54. why honda has them listed at a different price who knows.
as for the belt, you want to use the compressoer belt for the d-series compressor. the b-series compressor is alittle bigger and wont fit.

Wow I'll have to keep this in mind..good info!!! I had a real hard time finding b16 brackets and a b16 ps pump for my swap so I thought the AC might be specific as well. I did not install the AC.
