This is definately not me, but it is by the same guy who brought us the "vtec button on the shifter ****" a few days ago.

Gotta give him credit for an actual working Tach. Usually no one hooks them up. That gauge might be stupid to some people but I don't think it is. Well I'd take a Vtec light over a gauge but its really not out of this world.

i would assume that the 'VTEC gauge' is hooked up the same way as the VTEC light. he probably tapped a wire to the ecu that sends a signal to the VTEC solinoid (sp) to engage. when the signal is sent through the wire, the gauge picks up a voltage signal (12 volts probably), making that gauge move. if you havent noticed, that gauge is really a volt meter.
LOL nothing beats this tho

LOL the video above is silly as ****...and damn i've never heard SOHC vtec crossover so damn loud...it sounds like my b16 with crower stage 2 cams when it was all motor
LOL that guy is obsessed with gauges stickers emblems buttons lights.... everything. i think his dream was to fly a 747 but he wasnt smart enough so he just made his own kinda crazy cockpit.

That is how it works, id deff choose the light though, i have one. But i only used it for tech purposes cause i couldnt hear vtec in my z6 after i swapped, lol. but sohc vtec sounds like a gsr hitting vtec with a stock exhaust and no intake
(btw, i dont dd may car that way).
