I got two and love it. Got the z1 and love it too. Both are great radios. I can't keep the d2 in stock.
I have an AVIC-D3 in my G3 Integra and love it. The navigation works great for the most part, though I have encounted a few quirks. (In one particular place, the voice tells me to take a left onto the interstate when I clearly have to take a right onto the onramp. The map shows it correctly, but the voice tells me wrong. I've only found one place where it does that so far.)
I've had it since May 2007 and just bought the 12 disc cd changer and the xm receiver for Christmas. Can't wait to get them hooked up. I love it and everyone that rides in my car loves it.

for the avic d3, you have to have the navigation dvd in in order to use the main functions of the navigation. i know you can still listen to the radio while you have this going, and i'm sure you can with the ipod connection also. i'm not sure if having the multiple cd changer will allow you to listen to cds while the navigation cd is being used but i bought the changer with those intentions in mind. i won't have it installed for another few days though, so i can't answer for sure right now. i'm pretty sure it will work though...

i've had the the avic-d3 in my is300 for about 3 months now and it works great
. only downside is the dvd based navigation, but you can't complain for the price. you'll still be able to listen to cds while navigating if you pop the dvd nav in and set the destination and then you can take it out and the route will be saved to the memory. i believe you can navigate up to a 10 mile radius just off of the memory alone. with the dvd nav in, you'll still be able to listen to radio, satellite radio, ipod, or aux input on the front.
the ipod integration on the d3 is probably the best i've used so far compared to kenwood or alpine double dins. even though its illegal in most states, the e-brake bypass is very easy to do and does not require any extra modules.
has a lot of cool extra features such as you being able to change the splash screen, as well as the background to any picture from your computer.
my only beef with the unit is not being able to shuffle the songs on cds. it has a shuffle option, but only shuffles if you listen to a song from beginning to end. i personally like to be able to just skip the track and then randomly go to another song.

I had the Avic D2, and I think it was a lot better. It got stolen out of my dc2. The insurance company was going to replace it with the D3 but I refused to get it because it didnt have a lot of little things. Like stated before, it only has space for 1 disc while the D2 a seperate rom for navi. It also doesnt have an angle option which i think is great for a dc2 because of where the radio is. I guess it is not that bad because it is cheaper than the D2 but I personally would rather save up some money and get one that i can play cd's with while operating the navi, and one that will adjust.
