Default T3/T04e 57 trim .63 a/r on a 84mm 8.4:1 vtec

Basically im wondering if the T3/T04e 57 trim .63 a/r turbo will be good for a 84mm sleeved LS with a b16 head. 8.4-8.8 comp ratio on the pistons. I'm looking for good mid-range that pulls all the way to say ~8.2-8.5k rpm. what do you guys think?

turbo will be ok, but bigger can be better depending on the cars overall use. y such low compression?

pump gas, don't really 100% truly trust ANY tuner, and since i can't tune it myself (don't know how), i need to trust someone to tune it. I generally want to car to last long. road course car mostly.

should be fine, but lower compression will kill your throttle response for road course, and you really need to get it tuned well if using for a road course. you will be testing almost all your load rpm zones for extended amount of times on the map, so one error can be very bad.

tune will be by dave at whip factory. he did a good job on my first build so yea.

basically im out to have fun with the car, there is no way this car is going to get into competition... at least i doubt it, but you never know. lol. i want to drive the car to the event, beat the **** out of it at the event, and be confident that it will take me home. thus the low compression ratio. thanks for the responses though.

i have a 1.6 with the same compression (8.3) and same turbo, you should like it, i ran 15psi all day on 91 octane and it MOVED! made 317whp and 240tq!!!

the lower compression is fine.

i have the same turbo and engine setup and it makes great power. good midrange pull all the way to redline.
