Default ITR PISTONS&WRIST PINS ON EAGLE H BEAM RODS???

i was just woundering if its possible to put oem itr pistons and wrist pins on eagle h beam rods, reason im woundering is because the itr pistons have press in wrist pins and the h beam rods are meant for floating wrist pins....let me know if there is a way for a machine shop to mount them together and has anyone had it done before??? HELP ME OUT!!!!

The only way that's going to happen is if you had lock grooves machined in the pistons, which isn't worth the time. What are you doing that your trying to run Eagles with stock pistons??? Stock rods work fine in 99% of all motor builds.

Get some ARP bolts and have the big ends of the rods honed, and run em'. Pro 2's in a 1.8 shouldn't make peak power past 9200 rpm. We built a motor for my boss, LSVTEC, 81.5 bore,12.5:1, Pro2 cams, Type-R manifold, 68mm T/B, custom header, 2.5"exhaust, ported head, etc. It made 228whp at 9200rpm 142 ft. lbs. with a VictorX, made 224 whp, and 150 ft. lbs. with the Type-R. Plus the stock rods are lighter than the Eagles, I have only seen stock rods break when the motors have been over revved on a downshift.

im running a c1 bottom end and a b16 head and im planning on getting arp main studs, and head studs and if i decide to go with the stock rods i was going to get rod bolts too and i herd that with this setup them cams should make power up to at least 9500 but thats just what i herd

I think you would be fine. Do you have JDM R pistons? You should really try to get some more compression either way, at least 12 to 1. Unless you plan on running a VictorX, it's not going to make peak power that high. The Victor will lose torque everywhere, and with a T/R manifold you might rev it to 9000, I wouldn't waste money on main studs either, you don't need em'. If you do run em' make sure you have the main bores line honed/bored or you will have problems. Never had problems with the stock bolts, even on 600+ whp motors.
