paiting carpet

ive heard of people changing the color for interior carpet
by using fabric dye/spray
what do u guys suggest is the best way to do this
just wondering

Buy new carpet. I ordered fom a vender off ebay for my 92 hatch. Was like 200 bucks. You will have to trim to fit but when done, you cant beat it!! BRAND NEW!!!!

Yea dude, I wouldnt paint it. I had a friend that did that and his came out all stiff and nasty. Go with the new carpet. It will look clean.

Don't paint it... it will be stiff, smell bad, and eventually fade.

if you remove your carpet and clean/prep it properly, then you should have no issues whatsoever if you follow the directions in applying duplicolor's fabric/upholstery dye spray. It got rave reviews under the body/paint thread.
