Default After Market Central Locking

Hi all, I have a 1992 civic, and have just installed an alarm that allows for central locking, how on earth do i mount the aftermarket drivers door motor so that it works correctly every time, ?

Your car did not have power door locks, so you added actuators to each door, but you are having problems with the drivers door actuator, is that correct?

What actually is happening, or not happening?

Was the drivers door actuator not mounted exactly the same as the passengers door actuator, [mirror image]? 94

I couldn't get the aftermarket actuator into where the passenger side one is, ie mirror image, but it doesn't fully activate the control rod from the internal lock mechanism for the door handle. I'm confused I know it can be done, just not sure of where to mount the actuator. I can post pictures later on.

Mounting actuators can be a real pain in the *** so they lock, unlock AND don't get in the way of anything in the door.

I've done this in a few of my Civic's. I could point out a better place to mount them.
