Default Project Ek

Well my name is Tony, Im 16 currently in high school with no job and no money, well some money but not a lot of it. I currently have a 98 Civic hatch
Engine starts and all but im not going to drive the car due to a broken lower control arm.
Im going to buy this car off one of my close friends for 1200 and he is helping me do a B18B1 Swap and help me tune and turbo the thing. It would be helpful for you guys to give me advice and other thoughts

Seems like ALOT of work if you have no money.

Save some more cash and get yourself a decent running car...

to be honest before you think about shaving antenna's, turbo, etc... you should get it in a drivable condition. From what I can tell, its gonna need some money.

before you get good at working on the car, it looks like you need to get good at buying and selling.... i.e. sell the caravan, sell all that doodoo in the pics, add that together and get yourself a decent running eg hatch like every other little whipper snapper on this site.

Take it easy, fellas. Obviously this car needs some work, but it's not like he's got rent and child support to pay. Let him have his fun!

as for the advice part, why don't you try and look around craigslist or honda market place and try to find yourself a better condition older model civic hatch? i bet if you saved up two weeks of your paper route money and your original 1200, you could probably pick up a clean 91 ef or 92-up eg with either a swap in it already or a jdm front end on the ef? and then what you could do is buy that motor from your boy and then swap it into a complete car? think about it, you have a horrible looking shell with a dash that doesn't fit that has no parts on it whatsoever, you know you have a sun roof button that doesn't lead anywhere, the joke won't be funny after 5 minutes. i bet those seats you're sitting on look just as bad as the exterior paint as well. Trust me, there is so much work that's needed on that car i bet it'll run u up to 3 grand at least just to get it to look decent.
