Default Next mod suggestion

Alright, ive got a 95 gsr with i/h/e.

I was just wondering what everyones opinions were on what my next mod should be. I am not going f/i and really just want to improve my times at the track.

Fuel pressure regulator, your opening the air flow, burning more fuel, so you can give the motor a little more fuel. and fuel pressure gauge.

Do you know any sites the have tein coilovers? Are they comparable to GC or Skunk2?

Comparable as in price? No, you're looking at a bit more money. But you definitely get what you pay for. I got my Skunk2's for $180, Tein's will run you about $1000.

A higher final drive will do the most to lower the track times.

JDM 4.785
ATS 4.927
Cusco 5.0038

etc.

Per $ is the best mod , but it's good to install a new clutch and flywheel when putting it in.

Well, I got mine from a guy at this Honda dealership which used to have an aftermarket parts department. When the aftermarket department shut down, everything was sold off really cheap...

BTW, not even looking hard I found Skunk2's for $270 at inlinefour.com. I'm sure there are even cheaper prices out there.

Highflow cat

Right now your H/E setup is not providing its optimal gains because you have a bottleneck with your stock cat.

Currently you are going from a 2.25" collector, to a 2" cat, back out to a 2.25" exhaust (or maybe worse if you got a 60mm exhaust or larger)

You should get a larger cat converter, but not a test pipe. If you dont really want to do a lot of tuning then a nice throttle body and intake manifold would do good. Or a JDM final drive. With the JDM final drive your gear ratios will stay the same, but you would accelerate faster.

If you dont mind tuning then go with Skunk2 Stage II cams and gears with the valvetrain upgrage. Then a VAFC for tuning lean/rich settings or manipulate VTEC crossover. If you have money go with a Hondata .

Yea that too . You need a new clutch if you're going to do more motor mods, so you can get all that power to the wheels.
