code 41 on a d15y8
im throwing code 41 which is the o2 heated circuit. but from resource 1.5l 8 valve is a single wire meaning its not heated. so my problem is my ecu. should i just reprogram the ecu, or just get another stock ecu? p05 is my stock ecu.

The D15Y8 as far as I know isn't a real motor.
Since you said 1.5L 8v, it's probably a D15B8.
It's EXTREMELY unusual that an O2 sensor heater goes bad. I've never actually seen one go bad.
It basically works like this: If it says there's a problem with the O2 sensor heater circuit, and that the CX (B8) doesn't have one, it means you have the wrong ECU, but if you have a P05, that's the right one, so don't worry about it.
I don't know about the CX and whether it has 1 wire O2 sensors or not, but if it doesn't (if it has a heater), and your P05 ECU is looking for the regular ECU with an O2 sensor, but you have a 1 wire sensor in there (no heater), it'll throw the code that you have.
I don't have my helms manuals on this computer, but if you have the right ECU (P05), and if that looks for a 1 wire + heater (as it obviously is looking for if it's throwing the code for it), and you're using a 1 wire (non heater) O2, then you need to put the OEM O2 sensor in there for the code to go away.
So buy the O2 sensor for a '92-'95 Civic CX.
Like I said, if it didn't have a heater (the OEM O2 sensor), then the stock (P05) ECU wouldn't be looking for a heater.
Get the right O2 sensor in there and the code will probably go away.

reset it like 50 times. ok well like 6 still comes up. i have a stock p05 in it right now, and yes it is a d15b8 (1.5l 8valve) and yes it is factory one wire (non-heated) o2 sensor and thats how it is stock on cx models.
new question:
should i just have someone reprogram the ecu or just get a new stock one? when i bought this car, the owner said he took it to a shop and they said it was a ecu. but how would the ecu start looking for a heater o2 when it doesnt come stock? hmmm
