A couple weeks back I installed a DCRH on my Si. I knew that I would have the CEL come on but I was told I could easily fix that once I got my defoulers in. So today, I put both of them on and followed the instructions I was given. I was told to put them on, disconnect the battery and let it sit for a couple minutes. After that, I was supposed to re-connect the battery and then let it idle for about 5 minutes and the light should be gone. Well, it's still there and I'm not sure what to do. Any help is greatly appreciated.

 

what O2 sensor did you install them on? Its suppose to be the 02 sensor that would plug into the stock cat location. Did you manage to pull the code up b/c i have a buddy who installed one and he crimped his wires on the O2 sensor causing a code to be thrown

 

Well, I was told I had to put the defouler on both the sensors on the header. One where the stock header was, and one where the factory cat was. So I only needed the one where the stock catalytic converter was?

 

i've always put the defouler in the post-cat o2

 

I went back and took out the first defouler so the cat one was the only one installed. Light is gone now...thanks a lot guys!
