Default just got a new car!!

hey everyone i jsut pick up a 1997 civic coupe and before i bout the car i took it for a test drive and everything seem fine, but when i was driving home i put it in 2nd cursing in my Neighbor hood and it pop out of gear so i was wondering is there a was to prevent that from happing?

This same thing happened in my friends 98 ex 5spd and it turned out to be an expensive fix (syncros?) I would get it checked out for sure!

does it do it everytime you put it in 2nd? if not you could have not put it in gear all the way and it seemed to jump outta gear but never was in.

Check that out quick mine cost me tons of money and the owner acted like I must have done something cause it didnt do it when he had it I ended up suing him and gettin my money back and extra 2000

Well i got the money cause He sold it to me f$%ked up, it was really stupid, he had the tranny worked on before and still had it under warranty and all he had to do was take it to the shop. But what started it was low Fluid so make sure your just not low and if anything get you some good 'o Honda MTF works great on trannys going out
