Default would i be able to out the steering column of a rsx into my civic?

So I know that the rsx steering wheels fit my 2000 civic and i was wondering if i was to buy the whole thing from the junk yard like the steering wheel with the steering column as well with ignition and key, would it be way too much trouble or would it be an easy swap? Has anyone done this?

Why exactly would you want to replace the column too?

If you want the steering itself it will bolt onto your hub. Why change out everything when in the end its gonna look like you just the steering wheels anyways.

Exactly. I'm not really sure of the benefit. I mean, you could tell your average person that you have an RSX steering column and they would never be able to tell the difference (much less with the black cover on the length of it). Even then though, I think they'd wonder why you did it.
