Help engine won't start.
Today my friend and I were cleaning the engine and engine bay. I covered the my AEM Short Ram air filter intake with a bag to keep water from getting in. We finish cleaning the engine and we forgot to take off the bag.
That was when we started the engine, heard a popping sound, then quickly turned off the engine. We popped the hood up and found the intake filter completely crushed inwards. We went in a different car and got a new intake filter.
As soon as we came back and installed it, the engine did not start. The engine makes deep bogging sounds. I checked the if anything would have gotten sucked in, but I doubt it. Battery works fine.
Please help me with what could have happen. Every response will be greatly appreciated.

did the bag get sucked into the intake manifold somehow, similiar thing happened to me, the bag that was covering the intake tube, got sucked in and wouldnt start untill i realized that i left the bag on, but it got sucked into the throttle body, luckily thats where it stayed and not in the cylinders, check that, but cant be sure that what it is..good luck.

check you intake throttle body if there is nothing in there than you should be ok... also check your spark plug holes make sure there is no water in there that happened to me and my car would not start... if there is water DO NOT REMOVE the spark plug stick a rag or paper towel inside the bore to soak up the water... or if you have a blow nozzle try to blow out the water and dry the plug wire
