I have a 92 CX with a D15B. Just bought the car. It seems to be leaking oil, there's a whole bunch of white smoke out of the exhaust and the car kinda smells like fumes from the inside after a bit of driving.
Anyway, just a few days ago my friend and I did a radiator flush becuase we took a look at the coolant and it was NASTY brown. We filled everything back up with 50/50 mix and it seemed to be fine for a good 4 or 5 days, but last night when I was on the highway, I noticed the temperature start rising like crazy. It goes back to normal if i have the heater on full (no ac, but its cold here anyway) and if I keep the car in high gears. No leaks at all, both the radiator and the overflow tank are pretty much full.
It also seems that the car doesn't pull nearly hard enough as it did before, so i'm starting to get really worried
you guys think my coolant may be mixing with oil?

if coolant is mixing with oil, you will most likely have a blown head gasket! try to diagnose the other small problems first, then try a full leakdown test. good luck

I can't really hear any bubbling while driving cuz my car is loud
But I didn't see any bubbles last night after it happened and i checked under the hood.

Bubbles in overflow = thermostat i believe.</TD></TR></TABLE>

I figure if i replace the head gasket with an OEM one everything should be fine, yes? Since that's the only problem, what with me not seeing any bubbles in the coolant.
You think that an ebay graphite head gasket would do the job fine?

Headgasket is definatly toast.
Check the color of your oil, if it is milkey, that will confirm 100% that its blown.
Regardless, DO NOT BUY A HEADGASKET FROM EBAY!!!!!
If you go to a honda dealership and ask for a headgasket from a 1996 Civic EX it is only $31 BRAND NEW HONDA OEM. I bought a Ebay headgasket and I blew it on the first day!!!

Could also be a thermostat stuck...
If you have no oil in the coolant or vice versa, check out the thermostat. You saying it overheats but stops when you turn on the heater leads me to suspect the thermostat.
If you don't have a leakdown tester, but you do have a compression tester, just do a compression test and look for bubbles in the radiator.
