Looks like a drummel I baught. The only thing i see cutting through the floor are those mini circle sander things which break off very easily.

no, there is no way you can get through the floor with that dremel, its made for soft materials, read the manual that came with it.
get something like this. its called disk grinder and you can find a cheap one for about 60 bucks. and the blade will go from $5-$10

die grinder, recipricating saw, or a grinder like "3lo" mentioned, die grinder would be more versatile though, build your forearm for the recipricating saw though .

A grinder will be great, if you like fireworks.
I rather use a saw zaw instead. Is it spelled "saw zaw"?

What are you going to cut out then?
Cutting into floor puts major weak spot in the middle of car.

I'm just saying a few extra lbs isnt worth risking your life.
After being pretty much t-boned from the passenger side
you kind of worry about stuff like that especially at high speeds.

a dremel will not cut through the floor. I tried using it during my auto-manual swap and I nearly messed it up..

Maybe, just maybe, he's not meaning to cut out the entire floor. Maybe he's doing an auto to manual swap. Maybe he just means to put a hole in the floor for drainage.

Why in hell do you jump to the conclusion that he's going to start cutting out massive chunks of his floor?
