yes. you will have to bore the cylinders to fit them since they're oversized.

boring the block to 81.5 wouldn't be smart when one is planning on installing pistons with a diameter of 81.25mm. Might want to "fix" the post again only this time put the right information in it also.

I was told that they were oversized to fit a b18, .50 maybe... I'll be looking into some Skunk2 pro 1's valves spings and retainers.

Just a shame that this type of response get praises from people.

1). The reboring limit on the block, as stated by Honda in the Helm, is 81.25mm
2). Honda does not sell PR3's in a .5mm over size. There is standard (81mm) and oversize (81.25mm)

Do you care to further your attempt to prove me wrong?

What, where was anyone attempting to prove "you" wrong?
Eveybody born yesterday knows what the "stock" limit is but who cares?
Many, many people have gone to 0.020" with great success but you already know this.

I realized after I initially typed 81.5 that you could be 0.010 over because the OP never stated the size of the piston.

I've heard of people running that much over but I have never tried for myself. At 82 mm that sleeve gets a little thin for my taste.

I think people have completely missed the whole point of my post and counterpost...

I KNOW you can bore the block beyond the service limit. I KNOW people have done so with "ok" results. The person who made the post specifically said they had "PR3" pistons, which are manufactured by Honda. Honda, to my knowledge, does not and has not produced pistons for the B series Vtec engines in anything beyond 81.25mm. Thus, with the information provided by the original poster, it would be incorrect to advise him in boring the block beyond 81.25mm. See my point?
