Unfourtunately I've recently totaled my 4th Gen. Hatch. I'm looking at buying a 93 CX hatch automatic, but i've got a D16Z6 w/ a manual tranny lined up. How hard is it to change over from automatic to a manual trnsmission and what else besides the tranny would I need?

From what I gathered, (looking to do similar) the swap isnt difficult, however, it is time consuming.

 

CX auto?? whoa talk about gutless.

you'll need the clutch hydro piping, and i'm not exactly sure on the master cylindar housing on the firewall (you might need to replace it).

and you'll need to install (obviously) the clutch pedal which is very much time consuming.
