Yep, get home from the track, take it out and change the calibration and put it in my daily driver. Damn ecu goes from 800 to 250 whp without blinking!

And what fire would that be Mr. Dave?

the fire = mikey being happy about s300, then you chime in and say you also use it, then mikey becomes more happy

does s300 have all the features and potential to make a honda run dependably and reliably at the track with 7-800 horse compared to if you ran an AEM?

[QUOTE][ this was at 34psi. we made another pull at 40psi, it just spun the tires too bad to get a horsepower reading....was making well into the 800's and broke the 600ft/lbs of torque mark too.

this was only with ruffly 10 degree's ignition advance. since the head gasket was in ruff shape, we were just trying to dial in the fuel curve close so we could finish the tune up at the track.

fwiw the car broke the 160mph barrier at the track
[QUOTE]
This was from a thread from Tempest Racing about my car. The next day I ran my first nine second pass and have since made 14 9 second passes. I believe that I can honestly say that S300 is very dependable and reliable. The only time it has not run a nine was when the tranny broke and when I detuned the car for exhibition runs.

Last test and tune hit 47 lbs of boost with no issues with the engine, just tranny.

Don't laugh. Stock H22 distributor, with stock cap, ignitor, rotor button; MSD Digital 6, MSD wires, MSD HVC coil for Digital 6. All the two step, retard, etc, etc is done through the S300. Got to https://honda-tech.com/zerothread/2181798 and check out that thread also.

thanks. i never had good luck with stock OEM ig.

Well....First of next year. The car is 50% disassembled for inspection/improvement/freshening up. After Christmas the rest of it will be coming apart. Wish we could have made it this year, but I am pleased to have exceeded my goals for this year. Thanks to the help of a lot of people and then you putting the last piece of the puzzle together I started making consistant 9 sec passes. That was a great night at Tempest Racing.
