Tein HA's
I am looking into redoing the suspension set up on my itr. I haven't found too much information on a really good set up for my itr. I have heard good things about the tein ha's and was wondering if anyone has them how they preform. Im interested purely in preformance gains. if anyone has any recomendations on another better suspensions set up that would be great.
I have HA's on my ITR. I love them personally, enjoy messing with the stiffness settings. I haven't had them on the track yet, but for spirited street driving they are great
Glad you brought this up, I am looking into the HA's also. for those of you that have them, would you say the pillow mount option is worth it or not??? I did get a price of $1120 for the HA's with pillow mounts, those that sound good or bad?? thanks

1120 is a decent price with pillow mounts....
I have the HA's and pillow mounts on my EK, and they came with 560f/400r springs.
The HA's for the R come with 450f/340r
Anyway, the ride is VERY streetable. I have the shocks set to the 1 in back and 3 in front (16 being the hardest).
The pillowmounts transfer a little more noise into the car, but isn't as bad as I would suspect. The idea behind the pillow mount is to make the shock do the dampening and not rubber businings in the upper mount.
It isn't a necessary upgrade for a street car, or most track cars. Poly upper bushings will suffice.
But there isn't anything inherantly wrong with them for street use.

I used to have HA's on my old R, loved them, but at a weekend event it didn't seem like i had to much advantage over my friend in his stock R, i had my settings pretty stiff(rear) and low but i'm no badass driver either. Although i think they're a great street/ [occational]track coilover.

I like my HA's on the track. I like them so much I want to marry them.
I think they work
I believe they make Tien SS for regular integras.
Same shock body as the HA, but the valving and spring rates may be a tad softer.

It is possible, you just have to have your dealer tell them at the time you place your order. They will probably recommend to revalve the shocks if the rates you are getting are a lot different then the off the shelf package.
I was also lookign into the HA's or posssibly the RA's.. but another option was the JIC sf-1 anyone running on those those are the equivelent to the HA and some like it better.. I'm not sure if they are adjustable though am I right? and then tehres the flt-a2?
I have the HA's on my Prelude for more than 3-1/2 years and have been auto-x'ing with them from the get go. I've also been to couple of track events with them. Very nice coilovers, I can adjust the stiffness of the shocks according to track condition. I've also changed the spring rates on the rear of my Prelude. I didn't revalve the shocks since I only went up 2kg/mm (approx. 100 lbs/in, still within their spring rate range). I'm planning to revalve them so I can have 24-clicks rather than 16-clicks. In my Integra, I also have the HA's and they've been on the car for about 1-1/2 years. Since my Integra isn't the R, I had to swap the rear LCAs to the ITR ones. It wan't a big deal, very easy to do, and everything bolted right on (except for the brackets for the ABS sensor).
