A friend of mine seems certain that you cant use a gravity feed LVLP spray gun with acrylic for some reason.. i dont know why, and thinks you can only use it for 2 pack


is this the case?

 

is LVLP something new. Have i been out game that long low volume low pressure gun. why haven't i been aware of this? is it from japan?

 

well lvlp is irrelevant,
they are an uncommon type of gun

lplp is not that new..um..

 

can you ask exactly what kind of paint is he using?

brand and line would do wonder

"normal" paint is acrylic urtherane

 

but generally
most mainstream paints are fine with gravity feed

even if they are '1 pack'?

sorry, not really getting what you trying to say

you can spray anything with a gravity feed, it just that they works best within the range of viscosity
