Default lighter flywheel

so right now i am running my stock flywheel with a stock clutch....d16z6

i have the basic bolt ons, I/H/E and what not.....i want to replace the clutch to a stage 1 or 3 and get a lighter flywheel....?

will i notice more hp gain? my car runs 15.7 best of last season and i want to hit at least 15.3 or 15.1 will a lighter flywheel and better clutch assembly make me close to those times?

WHP gains would be minimal...but actual FWHP won't change. More practice will help those numbers, plus better tires! Plus, weight reduction is a free mod that'll help greatly too.

What?

You won't gain any horsepower with a lighter flywheel, but you reduce the amount of energy required to increase its angular velocity. Therefore, it will rev higher and lower more quickly. If this is not an issue for you, go ahead and buy a lighter one.

Also, you don't want too much clutch. With only bolt-on's and a lighter flywheel, I'd recommend sticking with an OEM or OEM replacement clutch. If you plan on doing something more serious in the future, then you can consider one with a higher torque capacity.
