car feels like its going to turn of. 1994 accord lx
wen i brake at a stop light hard, the idle goes a down and the car vibrates and then the idle goes back up to normal, also wen im in reverse the idle will sit low, and feel vibration. also at idle the steering wheel vibrates and it rattles a bit, is it time for new spark plugs? or any ideas?
check the alternator the brakes maybe using more power with other stuff than the alternator can handle if it is the alternator try using a bigger amp alternator
its kinda hard to help without some info on ur car... auto/manual etc.
its poss it could be something as simple as ur tranny mount if its an automatic...
provide more info for better feedback

Clean the throttle body/ throttle plate area,[toothbrush and Berrymans B-12] put in some good fresh spark plugs.
Consider removing the IACV and blasting it out with some Berrymans B-12 and compressed air.
Look at the tach when you are in drive with the brake on and tell us what number the needle is pointing to.
The front subframe "dog bone" motor mount has a little adjustment on it.

It could be a motor mount, but you should also consider what Hondadude said you should do.

engine running trans in park/neutral loosen then retighten the top mount bolt; see if it changes the vibration problem.
Better to have vibration in reverse than Drive
Your idle speed is about normal, but cleaning the IACV and throttle plate improves idle quality.

IACV- Idle air control valve
FITV- fast idle thermal valve
TB - throttle body
hondadude was def right about inspecting these to start. very well could be anyone of the above 3. id say inspect/clean these 3 to start, its easy and cheap to maintain and really makes the car run alot cleaner. id say do it anyway especially if you havent in a while or ever. there is a DIY link in the FAQ section.
but......I will bet u its the mount like i originally posted. im gonna go with $20 on the rear mount and $10 on the front,
they receive the most abuse. GL and lets us know what the fix was
