Default The new project I was "WORK"ing on...56K, really?, really?...

Well this is the new DD ride, I finally went and snapped some pics at lunch today. Now please be gentle, this is my first time attempting a photoshoot and my car is REALLY dirty from being parked in the rain.

Wheels - Work VS Edition - predecessor to VS-XX Line - 17x8 17x9 35 offset all around.
Suspension - Tein Basic

My Setting - Downtown Los Angeles

And the obligatory phone in the lip shot (DIRTaaayyy wheel)

Yes I know the car looks high, but that is as low as I can go right now and still get in my driveway, I actually scrape the lip as is.

Thanks and cheers!

Wow - didn't see that one coming, lol. Mine are actually older than VS-XX's. You still can get those and they would look damn nice, but just to let you know there is a black CL on the CL forums running gold VS-XX's already.

PS - can i be in the CL squad?

Haha, yeah I know those are the older model, they look sweet on the car. Primrose ftw. I don't have the CL anymore, it's been about a year. I miss it so much

Post up your pics in here! Always nice to see another modded CL!

Thanks for all the positive response so far guys. The lips were actually freshly polished when I picked them up, lol.

That was from only a couple of days of CA rain. We dont get much, but what we do get is full of acid, lol.

Looks good. I like CLs alot!

Quick question. How much lower will it go on those coilovers?

I have a '98 Accord coupe(same platform as your CL) and the Basics are one of the coilovers Im considering for some comfy daily driving.
Thanks.

CLs are the same platform as 94-97 Accords, the 98-02 are different I believe

Hmm, I guess Im not sure.
I know at some point the CLs got f23s that were available in the 6th gen accords. And the 3.0s in the CLs are(to my knowledge) the same as the 3.0s in the 6th gens, not the older v6s in the 5th gen accords.

Maybe in '98, the CLs changed too. I dont know.

Again, thanks alot guys - I really appreciate all the positive response. I may still come down in the rear a little, just to even it out more and maybe get a little more clearance on my lip.

As another poster mentioned my CL is the equivalent of the 94-97 Accords. That being said, I'm pretty sure the range of adjustment is about the same on TEIN Basic's from car to car.

Right now, measuring the threads on the shocks themselves - the shop set it at 2"s from bottom. So I can definately go lower. I have clearance on the rear and front fenders.
