hey guys i blew a head gasket on my civic.so i took the head off and there was water int he pistons but there was no spots of where the gasket could of been leaking from.the only thing i could think of is the head is warped or the head bolts are bad.

 

any body have any ideas

How can you be sure that the headgasket had no spots where the water/coolant could leak from? How many times have you pulled the head before? Did you take the head in to a machine shop to check for level?

 

i had the head off once this is my second time that i had the head off but the head has been off once before.i had the head sent out and rebuilt at the local machine shop they said it was fine.i watched them check it.but the motor had a sealer in it.i just pulled the thermostat and it had some on it.like a beady paste.

 

Throw on a new OEM HG and start from there...
