Default Opinions: gt40r 72mm on a 2.0L

I was wondering if I could get some opinions on this. I have a built 2.0L b18c 9:1 compression and have been in the market for a turbo kit for some time now. I came across a guy selling an Inline Pro kit and he had upgraded the turbo to a GT40R 74mm.

Obviously this is a large turbo, would anyone happen to know when in the rpm range this would actually start building boost and when it would hit full boost? I don't want my car to be a slug all the way up to 6000 rpm.

Other question is, if I bought the kit how much does just the turbo go for? thanks for your insight.

Check this dyno graph and decide from that. http://forums.evans-tuning.com...=4714 Pretty similar in displacement. Peak torque isnt hit til 6500-700 rpms. What are your power goals? If they arent over 700whp then its a waste of a turbo...That turbo goes for about 1700-1800 depending on exactly which one it is.

thanks for all the responses and the dyno plot. I think im going through with it and will purchase the kit. Later on down the road maybe ill sell it and get a little smaller one with a better powerband.
