I have a 98 type R. I am planning on getting a few parts and would like peoples opinions on how much whp and what 1/4 mile time ( assuming I drive well) I wil get from them. Thanks a lot!

That's a hard question to answer. If I could answer that I would be placing a lot more bets at the local dyno.
Go find out, and then tell us what you dyno'd at

that set up would not make you too much faster or much more hp. None of thats stuff gives you a lot of power. Out of a header with a 2.0' colector you cant expect much more then 5 whp.
weather it will give you 170 whp or 175 will most likely depend on how much whp your car has right now stock. I met a guy at the track with a stock ITR the only mod he did to it was he removed the power steering belt. He hit 173 whp. He was running 14.4's @ 99mph. Im gonna have to guess that those mods will gain you about 5-8 whp.
Yes, he is being sarcastic. But, there may be some truth to the 50k miles less life on the tranny part of his statement.
Here is what one of my OBD2 to OBD1 ECU conversion harnesses along with one of my chipped P28 ECUs (vs. USDM ITR ECU) did to my '98 ITR:
The only difference between the runs is the ECU (P28 vs. USDM OEM ITR ECU).
The mods at the time of this dyno were:
JDM ITR header
Iceman intake
test pipe
5Zigen Border304 exhaust
64mm TB
cam gears
OBD2 to OBD1 ECU harness
'Kenji' chipped P28 ECU

What you really need to do is get some "FEAR THIS" stickers. I hear that they'll scare your opponent away quicker than you can shake a stick.
FEAR THIS stickers = 10-12 HP at the wheel on a properly tuned car.

WHy are you doing an OBD1 conversion and chipped P28? WHat are you chipping it with? Save your money and just use a VAFC.
And where is the CAI in thsat list (AEM/Icebox)?.
Figure drop the shifter, chiped ECU, OBD Stage 1, pick up VAFC and AEM and you are looking at 170 worst case to 175 average.
TImes vary at the track depending on weather and elevation. WHere are you and when do you plan on running?
I ran a 2000 Type-R in KY with 171 HP to a 14.22 @ 99mph
