Need Help:REF won't allow jumper harness(crx/b16)
Long story short my REF out here wont allow a jumper harness for an OBD 0 to OBD 1 conversion.I just need confirmation on my parts list.
92-95 Civic V-tec engine harness
92-95 Civic under dash harness(including ECU harness)
USDM P30
Will the OBD 1 dash harness just plug right up to the CRX's interior plugs? If i completely swap out both the engine and dash harness' will I be good to go? O r should I just add OBD1 plugs to my OBD 0 harness?
Thanks

Do yourself a HUGE favor and don't try to run a complete 1992-1995 harness in your car. Just solder 1992-1995 ECU plugs on your stock harness. MUCH, MUCH easier.
And that would still pass as OBD1?the car is already running as OBDO,So if I take off the resistor box, change the ECU plugs to OBD1,and change all the engine harness plugs I should pass. What about the service ports on the OBD1 harness(where you use a jumper to check codes) he requires those
This has always worked for me. On the other hand, before you do ANYTHING, you should try going to a different referee. Some are just more nitpicky than others. I had one referee give me problems because I left the diagnostic port in the engine bay rather than under the dash. But I ended up taking it to a completely different station, and it passed. So you might be able to pass it even with your jumper harness if you just go somewhere else.
