Alright.. heres the story, i got a 95 civic ex with a jdm gsr engine with a type r tranny, that i ordered from hmotors. i have an act stage 2 clutch and type r flywheel.

Now i was driving and i went to switch from 4 to 5 on the highway and it wouldn't switch into gear. so i pull over and it wouldn't go into any gear while the car is on. but when i turned off the car, it went into gear. so i left it in gear and started it and drove it to the next exit and bled my clutch, and it still didnt go in to gear while the car was on. Than i bought a new master cylinder, and nothing happened. Its also a new slave cylinder, not even 3 weeks old. i really cant figure out the problem...any help?.. its really beating my ***..

 

Any fluid in tranny?

 

yes it has fluid... and by the way when starting the car with it in first gear and the clutch down the car still moves like the clutch wont disengage all the way. i had my tranny off and pressure plate/bearings/disc all look fine, this one really has me stumped any help would be appreciated

 

shift forks broken?

 

hmm i had the same problem also, but i opened the tranny and one of the springs broke, so im not really sure what your problem is...

 

i checked the shift fork out and it looked fine... im starting to think its the pressure plate even thought its only a couple months old(and i dont beat on it that much) i think im going to have to pull the tranny again and put my brothers old stock type r clutch in and see if that solves it
