so i hav a DSM 1gen resistor box i was wondering does it matter wether you put it close to the injectors or is it possible to mount it and wire it in next to the ECU on the harness.?

 

I dont believe it matters on the distance, as long as you use a decent gauge wire and not speaker cable lol (not saying you would or anything). Many people mount around the firewall, so i dont think it would matter.

 

i wonder if anybody has ever attempted to mount the resistor box close to the ECU. seems to me that as long as the resistor box is between the two it would do its job.

 

not sure if they have or not, doubt their would be any electrical interferance. Id say your right.
