Default Wiper arms

I found that the wiper arms on my ek were striped so i need new ones i have a friend that has a pair of eg arms will they work? i did search but didnt find any about eg arms on ek any help would be great thanks

Hold them up to figure out if they're the same size and if they are try to fit them on. Then test.

man you are helpin me out thank you btw it went ok happy it was just the arm but then ore problems arose, we ended up workin on stupid **** till one haha

That's right... how can your wiper arms strip out? They're not really threaded. The nut that goes on top of them are though. Are you sure they were tight enough?

the thing under the arm?? like the nut thread? that is attached to a motor so ud have to replace that instead of the arm. you cant strip the arm...

well not threaded but after we took the motor cover we saw like shavings from the arm hmm ill go try to put them on very tight to see if it works

if the nuts isnt tightened down all the way it wont give enough pressure to the wiper arm causing it to not wipe correctly

Yeah, the wiper seems to mostly be held in place by pressure of the nut on the linkage, not a thread on the arm.

So if there's anything that's stripped, it's either the nut or the linkage. Replacing the linkage is basically the same as replacing the motor.
