Hey could you guys recomend a good 5 channel amp i need atleast 50x4. Nothing to expensixe like Zapco or Macintosh.

I have it and it's pretty good. But its about $500.
I've also used the Kenwood excelon X650D which was actually pretty good. I'm hearing its way over-priced with their retail of $749 or something. But I got it for $430. So I can't really complain.
PPI makes a decent 5 channel amp too. The PCX-5800 does 50x4@4 ohm and 200x1@4 ohm for sub. But this amp ain't that cheap either. $489 at http://www.carmedia1.com

They're probably not the cheapest price though. Ebay has way cheaper prices but I'd stay away from ebay. You have other options, just look around.

You can get them for around 5-600 if you look carefully on ebay. I would also consider a Soundstream reference 705, and DEI makes a 5 channel. The problem with most 5 channel amps is the sub channel is far too weak.

 

Nothing but agreement here Also look at Power 600.5 by Fosgate, but same thing, sub channel too weak, but GREAT for an all around system (50/100x4 + 200x1)

kicker has a new 5 channel out and its 60x4 with a class d sub channel that is 300 watts and the price is around $400 i think.

 

I have a used Infinity 255a 5-channel amp for sale. 50x4 and 200x1 all at 4 ohms. Only $250.

Have one don't like it. But will probably find its way back in my NSX since my 10.2 and Picasso are impractical for my car.

I know this is a little of topic but I have notice that Soundstream has come out with a seperate line called Picasso. Is it any good? I have also noticed that it doesn't seem like to many 10.2's where made or my model of Picasso. Most I find are the 10.0 and old Picasso.

I didn't know Infinity made amps.. I thought they left the amp making to JBL

I personally havn't seen an infinity amp in a long time either don't know if they are produced, but love their components.

Its true however that JBL has specifically made amps (such as the BP series) to power infinity perfect subs and components.
