If you want something that can be picked up at any store, NXT tech wax is very similar to #21.

no, it isnt. NXT only lasts a couple of weeks while #21 will last months if applied properly. The only similarity between the two is that they are both made of synthetic polymers.

However if you chose to get something OTC and pick up NXT (best OTC choice), look for the v2.0 that has hydrophonic technology (as does #21 v2.0)

Surface prep has more to do with longevity than anything else. I’ve noticed absolutely no difference in longevity between #21 and NXT on a properly prepared surface. I think that #21 is easier to apply with a machine compared to NXT, and each product has its own unique look. The originals vs. 2.0 versions, I don't know because I haven't used them.

Anyways, there are better products out there.

you might get better results where you live, but here in FL, the sun eats up NXT quick. the past lasts a little longer (1-2 months), but 21 lasts longer for sure.

Are you looking for appearance, durability or just looking for the cheapest thing out there that looks decent?

why are you choosing not to order online? you are limiting your choices severely.

I like it, goes on and off easy and it smells good. Realy brings out a nice deep clear color to the car too.

Bees wax FTW!

Meguairs = no carnuba wax
P21S = glossy but only for 2 weeks
BlitZ= last long for about 2 months but not as glossy as P21S... easy to apply.. I use this personally and I have P21S for summer..

what?

the gallon jug of Meguiars #26 here in my room says its made from brazilian number one carnuba wax.

And #21 topped with #26 works wonders. as stated before, this combo yielded heavy sheeting 4 months after application.

yea, 21. like I said put one or 2 coats of it on (2 is ideal for guarantee of full coverage), and then follow with a coat of your favorite wax, and you will love the results. #21 is the most durable stuff I have ever used.
