Here we go, I have a 94 civic ex and had plans for it but its now a daily driver.....anyway i installed a skunk 2 intake manifold and throttle body a couple years ago. the butterfly sticks and is hard as hell to hit the gas so instead of investing more in performance parts I decided to put the oem tb on it. now I have a leak so i reinstalled the skunk 2 tb......it went away!! why would this be?? I called skunk 2 and they said the oem tb with the oem gasket should work fine with their intake manifold. I replaced all gaskets and rings, the tps and still no luck!!! anyone run into a situation like this??

 

I don't have the answer to your question but my stock Tb sticks closed too so i'll stick around and see what people say.

 

when you put the stock tb back on and put the tps over, did you adjust the tps to the right voltage. if its outta range the idle will fluctuate up and down and make it seem like a vacumm leak. get a volt meter and adjust the tps to .5v at closed throttle

 

sure did......it only happens when i reinstall the oem throttle body
