Default f22b with f22b2 head

has anyone ever done this? I ordered a newer motor and i just wanted a replacement for my original f22b2 but they sent me a f22b with f22b2 head on it i guess....cuzzzz its not dohc or vtech....anyway I was just wondering if the bottom ends are different or if there is some kind of incompatibility....soo far it seems to run good though.

Where did you buy the engine?

FYI All JDM SOHC, DOHC, VTEC or Non VTEC F22B's have the block stamped F22B. There is no B1 or B2 designation on the JDM engine. All F22B's share the same bottom end.

ahh ok i bought it from asap motors out of texas.....Its just stamped f22b on the motor which i noticed right away...and my original motor was stamped b2 so I was just wondering if there was anything different but if not then okkkkk
