Default need help removing 3M sticky crap on interior trim

the guy i bought the car from put that carbon fiber stick on crap on the radio trim, the center console, the air vents etc...

I want to remove all of it and make it look oem but I want to make sure i can get the left over adhesive off the plastic without fading it and of course not be sticky afterwards.

Any advice? i read somwhere on here that goo gone (which was what i was thinking of using) faded someone's interior. I just don't want to end up buying new interior trim pieces.

thanks

WD-40 always works well for removing adhesive, and shouldn't harm or dry out your plastic at all.
