i have a 96ek hatch with a y7block and y8 head (minime) and wired up a ex fuel tank in my car with a p2p and converted my car from auto to stick and when i go to start up my car it starts and runs for like 30secs and then shuts off, but while runing for those 30 secs i have white smoke out my exhaust. now my plugs are black and it seems its geting more fuel. i checked everything out and it all seems fine, i dont even have any check engine lights now.. im confused.. can someone help me? i was maybe thinking a sensor or someting is bad? PLEASE HEELP ME.. thanks in advanced honda gods

 

Smoke or steam?

 

i would say smoke...

 

im not too worried about smoke or if its steam im more worried about car starts and runs then shuts off in a few seconds.. what can be the problem???

 

check your coolant and oil..
White Smoke = burning coolant.

did you do all this work at the same time? the head swap, tranny, and fuel tank?
and why would you put a ex fuel tank on there? unless you had damaged your previous one, there is no benefit from doing that.

sure does equal coolant. this is why i ask if the head was swapped recent or at the same time, sounds like a headgasket problem.

 

sounds like a head gasket man check and see if there is oil in the antifreeze and vice versa
