Default 97 auto trans slipping again....ideas?

Well my trans is slipping again. This is the same as it has been the last two times. Both times the trans was rebuilt, once by a trans shop and the second time by me. The time I rebuilt it I replaced the converter, and rebuilt it, checked the solenoids and they checked out fine but I am wondering if they could still be the culprit.

What it does is act very very slow to engage into a gear when moving the selector into D4 or D1. Once it does engage, as long as you accellerate extremely slow you can get going to 40 ish, and then it won't shift....and if you let off the gas and give it gas again, it is like you have the clutch in and reving it until you get what the car is running at then it grabs. But after it warms up, you get going, then let off the gas, and give it gas all you want because it isn't going to engage the trans. You have to stop, put it in neutral, put it in D1 or D4 and get going slowly and then it will quit working after you let off the gas. I know, don't let off the gas...lol

And it throws a code, the PO715. This is the same code it has thrown everytime it has been rebuilt. Any ideas or suggestions.

Thanks...

Jimmy
