UKDM B18C4 'P9K' ECU - Can i use Scan Gauge?
Hi All,
I own a 1998 Honda Civic Aerodeck 1.8 VTi (B18C4). This was a European car, so you may not be too familier. Its a 1.8 16v DOHC Vtec (similar to DC2), but 169hp.
Anyway, it runs a 'P9K' ECU which is apparantly an OBDII unit. However, it doesnt feature a 16 pin OBDII socket, but the 2 plug OBDI style socket.
I very much like the look of Scan Gauge II, but it obviously requires an OBDII socket - does anyone know what i can do to run the Scan Gauge unit? (i'd rather not change the ECU if possible?)
cheers
Matt

Hi Jon - I have asked and searched on there too - but no response. Because the car in question is European spec and nothin similar was seen over in the States - they are of little help.
BlueIntegra - I'm not so sure what a link to reading fault codes will help me with? Maybe i'm being dumb and missing the point of your link?
