Default clunking noise

ive been having a clunking noise on my 05 type-s for a month or so now but it just keeps getting worse especially staurday when i was in east l.a. w/my gf, the hills are very steep there and was just making the clunking noise go crazy it was driving me nuts, this happens everytime when am coming to a stop or just rooling between 1-10mph, i think it might be my endlinks. wat do u guys think??? thanks for any help i appreciate it

check endlinks then and your suspension, to make sure if the springs are sitting on the perches correctly

i'm assuming you still have stock endlinks, so if its bad it will be broken or the threads will be stripped and compressed.

i'm also gonna throw something out and say tighten the top nut on your rear shocks. it should be tightened to 33 ft-lbs.

i'd still check out all suspension components, especially springs/perches, endlinks, tie rod. i'd look at the spring perches first, they might be loose. second, tie rod, to make sure the boot is not rip and also to make sure there is no play, and third, the endlinks. here's an easy way to test without taking off the wheel: jack up the front, and wiggle the wheels back and forth (as if you were shooting a bow). if there's play in it, then its your spring perches.

if they dont look broken or anything, hten they aren't bad. and i forgot you were on stock shocks, so the only thing that could be causing the problem is if your springs weren't installed correctly...i'd check to see if the CAI is clearing the shift linkage as well.
