down here in socal on the 405 south between seal beach blvd and valley view there was a major accident that had the whole freeway shutdown. When I drove by about an hour later (I first saw it from a bridge going over the freeway) I saw a white si coupe on the bed of a tow truck and it looked totaled. Hopefully that wasn't someone on here cause usually when they shut down the freeway for an hour or more its a fatality.

 

Weird, I'm off the 405 near Carson / Long Beach... I drive through there all the time but didn't see anything.

Still an Si coupe doesn't necessarilly = HT member... but hope they're okay regardless.

Seems like the only one "not okay" was not the Honda driver. It was another driver. Honda driver was a 45 yo man, perhaps still a honda-tech member?

 

sad, I wonder why he tried to cross the freeway as for the driver, I hope he's alright...

he probably hit the median and got out all confused and dazed from the impact then stumbled into oncoming traffic.

 

That, or he had a reason to run (warrants???

 

guy was my friends roomie ... he drove a white 07 SI and was a UC Irvine student. Good dude from what I knew of him. Really into cars, was building a racecar with other engineering students on campus. Sad stuff ... and I'm pretty sure he had no warrants on him. Maybe as just dazed iono
