Please list your opinions about SKUNK2 Mega Power exhaust system for an Integra Type R DC2, regarding power gains, looks, and especially exhaust sound!!!!!! + other info..

Also state better exhaust systems for ITR DC2, within the same budget or not!!!!

Great exhaust that made prominant gains over stock on my B20vtec...didn't dyno before but made 214whp 156tq with Skunk2 Megapower.

Funny thing about this exhaust is how it smells for the first couple of days.

Can't desribe the smell...you'll have to see for yourself.

The sound was much quieter than all my ricer friends. Nice sound, probably due to the 20+" Resonator/Pre-Muffler

What an annoying thread title

It's cheap (at least it was when I got it 4 years ago)

Comes with the buttplug,

Is 60mm od end to end,

Is lighter than stock but heavier than the lighter ones out there,

Is loud but has a unique sound (my wife can hear me coming around the track distinctively before she sees me)

Provides reasonable flow gains, It feels free in the higher RPM range, But I've never dynoed with it on.

The tacked on Skunk 2 name plate fell off the tail pipe recently but that's not a big deal to me, might be for others though.

It has "MeGa-PoWa" in the name so it has to be good/

i had it on my gsr and after a while it was getting raspy. It was relatively loud between 1-4.5k rpm but in vtec u would only hear the intake

 

I got a vid of my first time at gingermen with a skunk 2 on my car not cat also. Its a very loud exhaust. First car is charlie's eg with his 3in R-crew exhaust and then my GSR. I want a new exhaust really bad something like T1R but im a broke *** college student.

I drove about 60000 miles with my Skunk2 mega power, then the rear muffler broke down.

But i liked the system a bit to loud though.

To the OP... Skunk2 offers two systems as of right now and will be offering a third in the real near future.

413-05-1530 = 60mm system
413-05-5105 = 70mm system
and soon to come 76mm systems

each have a distictive sound and it differs from vehicle to vehicle (depending on mods) but all in all they have an agressive tone without being tinny or raspy.
