Default B18C with GT28RS, what cams to choose?

I've got a built 81,5x89mm B18C. CP 9.7:1 pistons, and a stock ITR head. I'll be setting rev limiter at about 8800rpm (supertech valve train).

I'm going for a Full-Race stage1 GT kit with a GT28RS turbo (.82AR ATP drop in T3 housing). I'm building the motor for road race events, so max reponse is prioritized.

I've been recommended by some people to use GSR cams with this setup. As I've already got ITR cams, is it worth getting GSR cams instead?

I'm thinking the ITR cams will help produce more torque near redline to stop it from dropping of too much..? Will the GSR cams help produce more midrange torque than the ITR cams?

So the ITR cams won't be too big for this turbo, considering the GT28RS runs out of it's efficiency range at about 7500-8000rpm?

GSR cams. Decent lift with reduced duration when compared to the ITR.

Who makes a good boost specific cam these days?

I've decided to go with the ITR cams.

Jeff Evans dynoed his stock B18C1 with a Full-Race stage1 GT kit and a GT28RS turbo. He made 15ft-lbs more midrange and 10whp more up top with ITR cams vs. GSR cams with no other changes to the setup.

I don't know if this would help, but a while back I read a thread about using a GSR intake and ITR exhaust cam or something like that. I'm in school but when I get out I'll look for it.

many use an itr intake cam and gsr exhaust cam since the exhaust cams on both are very similar, but since he already has a complete set of itr cams he might as well just run both ITR cams.
