SAME THING JUST HAPPENED TO ME!!

i got the trans off and found the clutch is fucked. your clutch disc is deffinetly done. drop the trans and see whats up in there. its deffinetly 100% inside the trans. In my case, i had an ACT street disc and it turns out the center of the disc got ripped apart and one of the springs was lodged between the clutch and pressureplate.

Now i just got it backtogether and im trying to solve a no-start issue, so good luck with yours, i hope you figure it out!

btw heres the pics i took of my situation:

I am almost 100% certain this same thing is happening to you. best of luck!

Do the simple stuff first, bleed the clutch.

Yes like EvilPhu said, bleed the clutch. I had that problem with mine at first. I actually needed to get a new slave cylinder. Have a buddy look to see if the clutch fork is moving enough when you press the clutch pedal. If not you need to bleed it more. You may also have to adjust the clutch master cylinder to pedal.

yeah its your clutch. if you had the tranny off the first time, why not just pull the clutch off to inspect it

my moneys on a bad clutch like what happened to me. god we have the same situation, i have an ls/vtec setup too haha. but i think the thing that killed my clutch was all the ricing out of control doing 5500rpm clutch dumps off the 2-step >.> no more doing that haha

Same thing happened to my Mustang. Turns out the clutch was fugged. The plate fused itself to the flywheel. Changed the clutch and it was all good.

Well as others have said the problem is def. the clutch.

Though start off simple before you rip off the transmission, air in the clutch lines could cause the same problem, make sure the clutch has been bled.
