My eg hatch was stolen on 10/24 from the Richard Stockton College of New Jersey along with EJ1Rider's ej1 simultaneously. His was recovered 1 week later and mine was recovered 12/12. Merry ******* christmass ********.











I think they simply broke the steering column cover off, unplugged my ignition switch and plugged in their own switch





They left the whole interior except for seats, steering wheel and dashboard pieces in my car dissassembled in the back of the car. The car was filled with tons of garbage and many interior pieces from other cars, including EJ1Rider's. They basicaly took anything on the body they could unbolt including the bumpers, fenders, doors, hood and stock spoiler.

They left me on the car:
-14" steelies with falken ziex on them
-front bumper with the side grills still in tact (i had oem foglights), it appears to have been shaved down on the inside to clear an fmic and piping
-fenders are bashed and have non oem paint
-hood has new paint and the underside has a clearcoat, mine was original paint and the underside of eg hoods is not clearcoated
-the doors have pinstripes, mine did not
-the rear bumper has black trim on the bottom, i did not.

What it looked like on the sunday before it was stolen at maple grove:

Did you have any security? The sad thing is that cops hardly give a **** about our cars. And to make matters worse, i am sure most thieves are on HT as well. Its a lose-lose situation in this country...

I'm sure the thieves are on here...they left my friends body in tact and didnt smash any of his interior. I came on ht the day it was stolen and made threats and called them out...in return i get holes in my headliner made by screwdrivers that left dimples in my roof, dents in my roof, broken interior pieces, bags of trash and a plank for a strut.

Security was: no ecu. they brought their own

 

what kind of engine was in it? was this one for sale not too long ago?? looks kind of similar to one i was interested in buying. guy who had it lived in northern jersey? sorry if i am wrong.

just keep a lookout for EVERY red EG or Ej around. you know they just put that stuff on their red civic. and didnt paint them.

I wouldn't even go that far. I could probably park a hatch and a Benz on the street overnight and the Benz would still be there in the morning.
