Shamoo!!! Need tranny swap help.
Hey man i remember from the old purehonda boards that you did a tranny swap on your integra. Well i jus recently picked up a tranny to do the same thing and i was wondering if you could help me out and give me a shopping list of parts that i will need. i did a search and found that u were considering making kits to make this swap easier and i would like to let u know that if u were going to do this i would be very interested in picking one up. any ways jus lemme know if u could i appreciate it, thanks.

i just swapped mine and didnt buy anything but new tranny fluid. i'd say if anything, inspect your axles first to see if the CV boots are ok since youre gonna have them out anyway its a perfect time to replace them. i'd also suggest that if you feel your clutch is on its way out its the time to do that too. I'd forgotten about PH, how long has it been back up?
its been back up for like a month or so its small right now but u should check it out and tell somepeople so it can resume its greatness.

Alrighty, here I am.
The kits you were speaking of are simply the Integra upper and lower tranny mount that has to be fabricated. Everything else will bolt on normally.
Here's a quick list of stuff you'll need:
1. Tranny with clutch/flywheel
2. Shift linkages from a 5-speed Integra
3. Starter from a 5-speed Integra
4. Upper/lower tranny mounts (custom ones or rewelded automatic ones)
5. Intermediary shaft from a 5-speed Integra, as well as (I think) a driver's side axle.
6. Clutch pedal assembly with slave/master cylinders.
The following are optional:
1. 5-speed ECU
2. 5-speed center console
3. 5-speed gauge cluster
I believe that's it. It's somewhat late and I had a long day, so I'll recheck this list tomorrow. Hope I've been of some help.
There are several other people here on HT who have also successfully done the swap.

to avoid having a homemade mount you can buy the 5speed integra bracket and for the tranny side of the car and remove your old one and weld this one in. Last time i checked the brackets only like 35 bucks then you can use the stock 5speed tranny mount. Also youi can remove the automatic gear indicator from your gauge cluster. It's held on by like to screws on the back. Either way, good luck witht the swap
