Default Fluctuating Gas Gauge...Any help?

Hey guys. I have an on going problem with my gas gauge. When im driving around the city, starting and stopping and stuff, my gas gauge fluctuates up and down for some reason. If I remain a constant speed, like on the highway however, it will go up. It also goes down when I turn onto an on ramp. Any ideas on the problem? Oo and the car is a pretty much stock, 1994 civic sedan
Thanks in advance!

It will go up and down to a extent just depending on how aggressive your turns, stops, and stops are. On a off ramp or hard corner it's not unusal for a 1/4 tank to go to empty on the gauge.

dont quote me on this but i was told it was because the gas gauge on 92-95's is a floater style gauge. So, when you go up or downhill or speed up or turn aggressively i assume your moving that floater , it would seem like it is a completely normal thing and nothing to worry about. However if your gauge is like mine and stays at full for 150 miles then just drops for the next 130 miles, thats probably a problem lol
