Default Blox Cam users please look here!

I was just wondering of anyone else's experience with Blox cams?

As I've read boosted hybrid has seen a few issues with them, i just want to know how many other people have had success or failures with them, please post how long you've used them, actual cams used and if you feel like it setup and #'s made with them.

The crack in the keyway would def. led to enough stress riser to allow the cam to shear around the cam gear. I have never had a single issue with skunk2 cams (b-series) in the past couple of years. I can say that they are NOT the same cams "relabled", as evident by the failures that i have seen.</TD></TR></TABLE>

I know two other shops in the area that have had similar experiences, it cannot be isolated. Infact the Blox B cams that were removed from FR geoff's civic had a cracked keyway on the cam, and my personal CTR cams are in the engine now for testing. Needless to say, the Blox's are not going back into his engine. </TD></TR></TABLE>

I have Blox pro 1 replica's...haven't had any issues yet but I have only had them in for about 500 miles. Make very good mid and high range power. I need to get it on the dyno for numbers.

I have some Blox Type B's on my set up... only put on about 200 miles on it though. However, I bought it used from a guy who put about 5000 miles on it. I inspected it before using it, and there was no abnormalities on the cams itself. However, I'll be sure to double check it after I get a tune and put on some boosted miles on it.

However, from the experiences of people I know who have run the Blox cams, they never heard of any issues from them. I think the situation with the person(s) seeing the keyway areas cracked are probably just a defected bunch. There have been issues with a lot of other companies with their products having issues. It doesn't necessarily mean all the products are defective though..
