okkkk im starting the car, filling the thing up full of coolant and cracking that bleed screw.....nothing ever comes out and I can actually take that bleed screw out and it will be bone dry....I dont understand it.... a few people have told me that my thermostat might be stuck closed....could that be the problem? I dont know if that can even be it because the car temp goes exactly to where its supposed to and never tries to overheat.

have you checked the cap to make sure it is holding proper pressure?

the best thing you can do is remove your thermostat and put it in boiling water and with a thermometer check when it opens. Then check what temp your thermostat should work at

engine off, loosen the 12 mm nipple at the t-stat housing, fill the radiator, when rad is full and coolant still does not comes out,,, remove the nipple totally, get a paper clip or a thin pin, stick it in the hole where you removed the nipple from,, I have seen it numerous times where the hole gets plugged.. Also is the car on a level ground ??

I have never seen a head gasket, or a bad t-stat or a bad radiator cap cause this issue
